City of Pardubice

Pardubice is the regional capital of the Pardubice Region. It is located approximately 100 km east of Prague and 20 km from Hradec Králové. According to the population it is the 10th largest city in the Czech Republic. It is an industrial centre of the Eastern Bohemia – the main industrial branches include chemistry, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering – but also a university town, seat of the University of Pardubice.

Hradec Králové, known also as the “Salon of the Republic”, is the capital of the Hradec Králové Region. It is situated at the confluence of the rivers Labe and Orlice, it has a rich history and is proud of its unique architecture. This university town has nearly 100 000 inhabitants and belongs to significant tourist destinations.
